The Federal Reserve is developing a new interbank 24x7x365 real-time gross settlement (RTGS) service with integrated clearing functionality, called the FedNow service. This service will help enable financial institutions provide their customers with the ability to send and receive payments any time, any day, and have full access to those funds within seconds. This position is a unique opportunity to be part of a new mission-critical Federal Reserve initiative that will be transformative to the payments landscape in the United States.

Position
This position is responsible for directing the SDET engineers by developing technical capabilities and solutions, and strategies that focus on ensuring framework development, DevOps continuous testing standards, CT pipeline capabilities, CT cloud infra, dashboards, and improving efficiency and effectiveness through the use of leading-edge solutions.
Expertise you will bring-
12+ years of experience in automation architecture, framework solution development, DevOps and cloud experience.
8+ years of experience in leading technical quality engineering resources
8+ years of hands on experience in developing and implementation of automation/performance frameworks
Experience working on cloud-based payment systems
Experience building frameworks supporting Kafka, API's and Cloud technologies
Extensive knowledge and understanding of working in Agile & AWS environments
Experience supporting scalable, modular and reusable automation strategies with Java or Python language
Knowledge and experience working with CI/CD model in micro-services architectures
Familiar with Architectural design patterns and microservices.
Experience building API's, competency with XML constructs &schemas, and real-time dashboards
Strong knowledge of Relational and NoSQL database working experience, writing queries, stored procedures and scripts.
Experience of working cloud technologies like AWS and experience of testing micro-services, containers, and docker is a plus.
Experience in performance testing tools like Performance center & JMeter
Experience of BDD and feature driven testing approach for functional and non-functional requirements.
Experience of distributed source control systems such as Git.
Experience working with REST services and understanding of SOA architecture.
Operational excellence in providing services and deliverables, meeting commitments, and attaining compelling business results
Well-developed facilitative leadership abilities and demonstrated ability to direct teams to achieve common goals.
Motivate and manage staff to perform at optimum productivity.
