About the Team:
We are looking for experienced front-end engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience working with large-scale applications and a track record of producing great output. You must care deeply not only about the quality of your and the team's code, but also the customer experience. We have growing front-end needs, so we’re looking for highly motivated individuals that are excited to join a team and work with product and content owners, designers, and other software engineers to build and scale services at RudderStack.
*Our roles are remote first, and can be based anywhere in the US (#LI-Remote).

- Micro frontend Architecture
- A central control plane that serves over 1000+ open-source data planes across the globe, and serves billions of config requests every month
- Code Editors to handle transformations
- SQL Editor
- Internal customer dashboard to provide end to end visibility to help customers
- Centralized API gateway for internal microservices
- Optimizing TS code to reduce production startup time from 4 mins to 20 sec with Webpack
- Tools you would use day to day:
- Secure coding practices that are SOC-2 compliant

What you'll do:
- Architect, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and high-quality front-end components to build an enterprise-grade application
- Collaborate across teams to deliver a delightful user experience
- Actively involved in code review and writing test cases to build a robust application
- Take ownership of the code
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of design concepts to provide a good perspective on frontend design
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- 4+ years of experience as a FrontEnd engineer.
- Strong understanding of any frontend framework, preferably ReactJS
- Strong in Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of latest web standards HTML5, CSS3, Webpack
- Experience in solving browser compatibility issues.
- Experience in creating responsive web pages.
- Experience in Optimizing page load.
- Create self-contained, reusable, and testable UI components and libraries.
- Understanding of complete web stack, web protocols, and performance optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and good communication skills.
