At Cognizant Digital Engineering, we believe that a small cross functional team made up of a Product Manager, an Architect, pairs of Developers, and the necessary domain experts like UI/UX designers or Big Data Analysts, can build software faster and with higher quality than having independently working silos of skills. A small team can also build empathy for each other, increasing their ability to react to change coming from either the client, external market realities, or from the end user as we consistently execute through build-measure-learn cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, lead and build an automated deployment tool set and infrastructure including environments, code management, CI and CD process.
• Help define and set best practices for code management, build, deploy and release across multiple teams/products in CI /CD model using Azure Services like Azure DevOps, Docker, AKS, ACR, Azure storage accounts, Azure app insights etc.

• Work closely with the software development team and other functional groups to develop and provide a robust, flexible and scalable platform.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ Years' Experience as DevOps Engineer in creating CI/CD pipelines for various technologies.
• Code management best practices such as branching, merging, and integration strategies.

• Good hands-on experience in YAML, writing CICD pipelines, automations using Bash, Python/Ansible etc.
• Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, setting up CICD platform, ALM, Release management, Azure services.
• Integration experience of security tools like x-ray, fortify, aquasec etc. is good.
• APM and DevOps KPI dashboard setup, configurations of APM tools like Azure app insights, Dynatrace or New Relic is needed.
• 3+ Years' Experience in Containerization platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes.

• 2+ Experience in with Azure Cloud.
• Experience in using at least one of the configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
• Experience in using Terraform or Python/Bash scripting languages.
• Administrative proficiency on Windows, Unix systems Linux (CentOS, or another flavor)
• Exceptional scripting experience (Groovy, Python, etc.)

• Certifications in AZ400, Azure Cloud, CKAD, CKA is required.
