Job Summary:

Cognizant is looking for a driven leader with vision with experience in tailoring a customized product and solution for our clients. This individual will act as a trusted advisor and be responsible for providing an approach for the overall project. The role is encouraged to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. The individual in this role will review existing architecture and capabilities from technical perspective. Lastly, Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/standard methodologies to improve our current services and technologies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and develop future-ready digital solutions for customers across industry verticals
• Create digital technology solution and program roadmap by collaborating with strategy and design consultants
• Assess and Design IT architecture strategies for cloud and PaaS platforms
• Supervise all production issues and inquiries and provide efficient resolution.
• Evaluate all functional requirements and map documents and perform solve on all development processes.
• Collaborate with application groups to prepare effective solutions for all programs.
• Documents all technical specifications and associate project work you're doing.
• Design all test cases to provide support to all systems and perform unit tests.
• Collaborate with Cognizant internal partners, product vendors, other third party service providers and the customer in the strategic design process to translate business needs into platform/custom solutions
• Demonstrate technical expertise in modern Cognizant Digital Engineering and associated technologies, cloud platforms, data quality, governance and architecture
• Develop and demonstrate proof of concepts
• Lead technology consulting engagements, solution workshops and due diligence
• Resolve availability and viability of third-party components and services as needed
• Develop and design specifications for integration, products and technologies
• Design quality control and test procedures to ensure the work meet established design and performance goals
• Drive RFP creation, deliver on client requests and find opportunities in line with account strategies
• Technology competency areas - Cloud Native, Microservices and APIs, Reactive Systems, Analytics & Streaming Pipelines, Devops - CI/CD
• KPI, metrics and cost benefit analysis
• MVP planning for DevOps adoption and migration to cloud

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide solutions to implement Azure DevOps (ADO) continuous integration & continuous deployment solutions for large sized project.
• Architect and implement integration of various tools with Azure platform.
• Design and provide solution for enterprise grade transformation of platforms using ADO and various Azure services.
• Architect ADO CICD platform, build and release orchestration, automations using yaml, python, terraform etc.
• Design and provide containerized solutions using Docker, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
• Help team in troubleshooting and migration to Docker and Kubernetes solutions.
• Architect various Azure services like DB, APIM, SB, ACR, KV, Storage account, Azure App Insights etc.
• Hands on Implementation knowledge in IAST/DAST security tools into pipelines, Kubernetes security is needed.
• Great understanding of APM and implementation of DevSecOps KPI dashboards.
• Guide the team to tackle, build & deploy automation solutions.
• Design/Implement release orchestration solutions for these large sized projects.
• Perform pre-assessments to help the customer begin the DevOps journey.
• Help in application onboarding to the defined target operating model to achieve build & release automation.
• Participate/Lead E2E DevOps small customer assessment.
• Participate in large assessment for data assimilation.
• Participate/Lead DevOps transformation for an enterprise customer.
• Provide solutions for RFP's.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• AZ400, AZ305, AZ306 Azure Architect certifications.
• Hands on experience in Azure DevOps, Azure Dashboards, Yaml and Classic pipelines, templates, Release orchestration, AKS, Docker, Azure services like APIM, ACS, KV, Blob, Azure App Insights etc.,
• Enterprise Architecture and implementation experience in Azure CICD platform ADO, AKS, CICD tools integrations, Automations using Terraform, Python/Ansible etc.
• Hands on experience in setting up IAST/DAST tools like x-ray, fortify, aquasec etc is good.
• Architecting and implementing APM tools like Azure App Insights, Dynatrace, New relic etc and building DevSecOps KPI dashboards, logging and alerting processes.
• At least 4 years of technical experience with in-depth knowledge of CI/CD/DevOps concepts, tools and technologies (such as Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, YAML, Terraform, Python/Ansible, Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure App Insights, Dynatrace / NewRelic / Datadog etc).
• Independently work on opportunities involving multiple SBUs/Verticals
• Ability to build and implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) environments using tools such as ADO, Build/Release tools, Artifactory, SonarQube, Kubernetes, APM tools.
