Bluebeam is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer with a passion for developing cloud native applications and implementing distributed and scalable solutions that are testable, performant and easy to maintain.

What You'll Do:

As a lead engineer on our Cloud Systems team, you will lead a team to design and implement cloud-based solutions to power our vision of a connected future. Working at Bluebeam will give you exposure to a wide array of technologies such as large-scale image rendering, real-time collaboration services, and 3D Image Processing, just to name a few.

About You:

You have a passion for architecting distributed and scalable solutions that are testable, performant and easy to maintain!

Our applications are built on AWS, and you have experience developing and deploying on that platform using a variety of tools and services like Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, EKS. You value DevOps principles like CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (using Terraform). You should excel in mentoring other software engineers and help us bring a culture of attention to quality and maintainability. You enjoy the opportunity to do full stack development and to contribute to the end-to-end implementation of new features.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience as a Senior Level Engineer
  • 6+ years building high performing/data intensive applications running in the Cloud.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher - Computer Science or equivalent field
  • Development experience in .NET technologies, GoLang, NodeJS
  • Experience designing and creating microservices
  • Leading a team to deliver cloud native applications to market using Amazon AWS (like EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, Lambda).
  • Experience implementing infrastructure as code, including building, and integrating into CI / CD pipelines (like Jenkins).
  • Experience deploying services in containers and using container orchestration.
  • Experience implementing and using APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
  • Experience with relational databases, writing Stored Procedures, Functions etc.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB/DocumentDB.
  • Partner with business and technology team members, to understand requirements and translate them into value-add technology solutions.
  • Willingness to learn and expand skills and repertoire
  • A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven, and organized.
  • Experience mentoring other team members
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • (Nice to have) - familiarity with OAuth and OIDC.
