Job Description:
Position Summary
The Open Banking Channel is responsible for vendor and Fintech API integrations, both for inbound and outbound integrations to help clients complete their 360-degree views of their banking data. Open Banking is one of our fastest growing channels and we enable thousands of FinTechs that provide alternate banking experiences to our customers. This team builds industry standard based API solutions that enable cutting edge capabilities by facilitating customer-permissioned data sharing. We are building a team to develop target state architectures that enable business and product strategies across Consumer, Wealth, Private and Retirements lines of business. This platform supports millions of customers and stability, resiliency, and scalability are critical factors in our work.
The Senior Architect will develop current and target state architectures for the OBC that will enable our business and product strategies for 3rd party API enablement and integration across Consumer, Wealth, Private, and Retirement lines of business.
Required Skills/ Experience
Demonstrated architecture experience as follows:
- Modern API strategy and design, and awareness of the best practices utilized by today's leading public API providers
- Partnering with service providers across the enterprise to map out public APIs connectivity to the best suited service provider and data/process owners
- Define strategy and architecture to support volume growth, segmentation, and moving capabilities to a cloud edge
- Partnering with operational support groups to ensure operational readiness of new capabilities
- Domain and Solutions architecture artifacts in support of strategic planning and initiative execution
- Maintain component interaction diagrams and capacity planning models
- Establishing SLAs, NFRs, resiliency and recovery objectives for the OBC
Desired Skills/ Experience
- Working knowledge of the Financial Data Exchange consortium and specification
- Working knowledge of Akoya, and how major aggregators operate
- Experience with popular API gateway and catalog technologies in the marketplace"
