Senior Application Engineer - Frontend (Angular)

Alto is looking for a senior frontend engineer to lead the development of our business-facing technology. This person will make a meaningful impact to the growth of Alto’s B2B offerings, and be an entrepreneurial builder, collaborative colleague, and a practical problem-solver.
What you’ll do:
- Join a growing team of engineers developing and maintaining modern web applications
- Research and implement new technologies to improve our processes and performance
- Collaborate with design and product to create innovative solutions
- Take part in fast-paced, iterative releases delivering quality features across multiple internal and user-facing products
- Become part of a team that values culture and inclusion at all levels
What you bring to the table:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience building with modern web frameworks like Angular or React
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience integrating with web services and RESTful API’s
- Experience in structured software development methodologies (ex: Agile, Scrum)
- Skilled in writing readable, testable code
- An understanding of the value of unit and integration testing
