Description
A Control Systems Engineer is needed for electrical/electronic system integration on Drill Products. This position works with a system coordinator, sub-system engineers, software developers and the prime product business unit to define and document electrical/electronic system & software requirements, determine machine electronic system architecture and ensure each of the sub-systems works together via analysis, simulation, and test. The Control Systems Engineer will also be involved in software coordination, configuration, testing, and releasing. Responsibilities may be adjusted further according to the candidate's experience and capabilities. The Control System Engineer will need to effectively communicate and interact with the product group design teams located in Denison, Texas.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum
5+ years of experience developing electronic control systems or 5+ years of experience developing software for embedded electronic control systems
Top Candidates will also have
Fundamental understanding of mobile machine operation, ideally construction equipment and operations
Strong communication skills, good organizational and time management skills, and the ability to identify needed actions and act to resolve issues with minimal oversight
Ability to communicate technical information effectively with a culturally diverse work group
Self-starter and highly motivated
