Global Retail Markets U.S. Underwriting is looking for a Software or Sr. Software Engineer to work on highly complex projects and solve technical problems, while working in an agile environment that has the creative energy of a start-up-and the full backing and comprehensive benefits of a Fortune 100 company.

This is a grade range posting for a Software or Senior Software Engineer
Qualifications
- Generally, 3+ years of professional experience.
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers,).
- Experience with modern Full-Stack Engineering
- Cloud Services: AWS, specifically AWS CloudFormation/CDK
- Languages: Java and/or Kotlin, JavaScript (NodeJS, and experience with one or more frontend framework or libraries AngularJS and Angular are preferred, React, etc.), Spring, Spring Boot, Docker developing microservices, GIT, automated testing tools such as Cypress, JUnit, etc., build and deploy pipelines as code (Bamboo preferred),
- Database management systems: such as MySQL, Postgres, and preferably a NoSQL cloud offering (DynamoDB, etc.)
- Familiarity with implementing modern security patterns for securing our systems (OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth2, etc.).
- Hands-on involvement with layered systems architectures, designs, and shared software concepts
Knowledge
- Knowledge of and ability to personally demonstrate and utilize many of the techniques, processes and tools that drive inclusion and engagement of all employees with a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
- Proficient in diverse and emerging technologies, architectural concepts, and principles
- Experience in layered solutions and designs
- Familiarity in security and privacy policies
- Understanding of incremental value delivery strategy
