With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. The Technology Quality Function is reserved for those positions where Quality is the primary objective of the work delivered. Technology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and services. These roles include, but are not limited to, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery.
If you are located in Basking Ridge, NJ area, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review the work of others
  • Develop innovative approaches
  • Sought out as expert
  • Serve as a leader/ mentor
  • Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks
  • Web application automation (Web page, iframe, widget)
  • Selenium Automation Knowledge
  • Proper E2E understanding to build the testcase and execution with multi teams
  • API automation
  • Write manual test cases
  • Experience working in an Agile team
  • Collaborate with Application developers and other Software QA Automation engineers
  • Participate in the analysis, design, implementation, automation, and execution of test cases, test suites, and test procedures
  • Provide the team with timely and accurate QA status and progress
  • Ensure proper configuration management of test management software and requirements traceability
  • Find, track, and produce detailed documentation of bugs and issues found during testing
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration principles and best-practices (CI/CD)
  • Document and troubleshoot errors - Ability to document
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with Agile development life cycle
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and processes
  • Gathered requirements for ongoing projects and organized details for Management use
  • Implement quality control standards for consistent approach and results

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of quality analysis experience
  • 2+ years of automated testing experience
  • Proficiency or 1+ years of working experience in the following skills/tools:
  • Rally
  • Selenium
  • Jmeter
  • SoapUI
  • ALM
  • Postman
  • Jenkins
  • Sauce Labs
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained
