Quality Assurance Analyst

We are a remote-first fintech company looking for a QA Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the QA team in developing our test suites. This role is a key player of a growing team working on new testing technologies to streamline Array’s testing processes and communications between product, support, and engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the product team to understand user stories and their acceptance criteria
- Conduct testing to ensure products and features perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines
- Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product
- Identify, log, and recreate error codes and bugs
- Report defects to the engineering team while recommending solutions, improvements, and updates
- Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Provide accurate reports of test progress to the product squad and QA leadership teams
- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Integrate OWASP security best practices into QA framework & testing processes
- Work closely with InfoSec compliance team & security engineers
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of technical experience as a Quality Analyst
- Experience with source/version control systems
- Proficient with API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, cURL, etc.
- Proficient with front end testing tools such as Cypress
- Comprehensive knowledge of tools, concepts, and associated methodologies of QA
- Detail-oriented and able to analyze data in order to quickly and creatively solve problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
