Quality Assurance Test Analyst

As a QA Test Analyst at FMH, you will evaluate and test software programs on a variety of initiatives to verify the system performs, both functionally and technically, according to specifications and identifies any discrepancies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: At least one to five years of software testing or user acceptance testing preferred. Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). Experience in both front-end and back-end testing using Oracle database tools is recommended. We utilize Agile methodology, so experience in an Agile environment is preferred.
• Education: Associates degree in MIS, Information Systems, or Computer Science required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Skills: Knowledge of testing processes and methodologies extremely helpful. Experience with Java highly desirable. Demonstrates strong analytical thinking with a good attention to detail. Excellent communication on a technical and business level; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with the development team to understand the requirements, scope, and objectives for any new or modified functionality within the system.
• Developing, executing, and coordinating both Integration and System Test Plans, including manual and automated testing (using Java) where applicable.
• Executing test scripts to ensure compliance with business requirements, functional requirements, and specified quality characteristics and documents results by recording the issue in the bug-tracking system.
• Debugging and retesting all components of the system or system enhancement, reporting and documenting all outcomes and test conditions.
