a.i. solutions is looking for a Project Engineer to manage a.i. solutions personnel on multiple projects supporting NASA, NOAA, and USGS spaceflight missions on the Flight Dynamics Support Services (FDSS) III contract. Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and project management support in the areas of spacecraft and mission systems engineering, mission design and analysis, ground system development, and operations.
• Develop relationships with the customer and team members to ensure delivery of our corporate promise.
• Manage effective communications between customer, team, peers, and senior management.
• Perform staffing actions including hiring, transfers, and performance reviews.
• Execute Task Order change request processes, including modifications to value or support requirements.
• Ensure tactical project management plans align with larger-scale strategic goals of the mission and company.
• Identify and develop opportunities for technical or business process improvement.
• Set clear expectations and assist staff with professional development and self-growth.
• Participate in corporate initiatives and business development, opportunity capture, and/or proposal generation efforts

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, computer science, or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in managing or leading aerospace engineering and/or software development projects in a related field
• CARA operations, analysis, or software development experience

Desired Background:

• Experience managing NASA, NOAA, USGS, or DoD aerospace programs
• Spacecraft flight dynamics experience/knowledge
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
• Experience collaborating with other Project Engineers and Program Managers to allocate matrixed staff
