Dip Into Your Role

  • Leading multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals of cost, schedule and technical correctness. Work with external engineering design build firms and construction contractors.
  • Effective communication of project status and key issues to peers and Sabra leadership. Must also have the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop mitigation plans.
  • Understanding and re-applying technology that delivers business results
  • Managing mid to high complexity level projects ($250M - $1.5MM budget range), from inception to
    project completion.
  • Lead the justification definition efforts for respective engineering projects and obtain business approval for capital appropriation request (CAR).
  • Manage budgets, forecast, cashflows and depreciation for assigned CAPEX projects



Recipe for Success

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process or Industrial Engineering
  • 3-7 years of technical or manufacturing experience, preferably in a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Packing, Process, and Automation equipment systems - (ie. mixing systems, fillers, automated packaging equipment, palletizer, stretchwrappers)
  • Experience in food processing systems - preferably in a refrigerated or frozen environment.
  • Ability to coach and develop associates on PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, batch and continuous processing equipment, packaging equipment, controls/HMIs, and utility systems.
  • Experience with GMPs, HACCP, and regulatory bodies such as FDA, USDA, SQF, AIB, etc.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite of products, AutoCAD).
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and team development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced and results oriented culture.
  • Role will require travel up to 20%. Additional flexibility needed to lead and ensure project work continues over selected nights and weekends.
