Insurance Customer Service Representative
Supplemental Insurance
Available Shifts:
Full-Time, M-F
Multiple shifts available between 7am - 10pm (CST)

Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing support to customers for existing supplemental insurance policies through inbound and outbound phone calls as well as processing related functions. The Customer Service Representative will provide assistance with queries on billing and policies, resolution of issues, forms and web assistance, policy changes, in addition to claims and claims filings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Field inbound calls from customers while pro-actively evaluating concerns, requests, and problems; related billing inquiries, policy support, resolution of issues, form and web assistance, claims and claims filings.
  • Place outbound calls and respond to emails as necessary to support the resolution of issues.
  • Effectively communicate policy information and perform all transactions necessary to satisfy requests using the multiple computer systems and productivity tools.
  • Perform back office policy support processing for claims, premium and non-premium bearing changes, correspondence, research and resolution, policy changes and cancellations, account reconciliations, complaints, and overall email support.
  • Resolve customer service related complaints and process complex customer calls.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal and external teams to resolve issues timely.
  • Accountable to build and maintain effective relationships with customers.
  • Handle special projects and other related assignments as delegated by manager.

Required Skills: Preferred Skills :

  • High school diploma or equivalent Prior insurance experience
  • Customer service experience (face to face or phone) Call center experience
  • Basic math and analytical skills College degree
