We are seeking a Network Engineer to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team working on a cutting edge program in support of national security objectives. Typical duties include:
• Designing and implementing Engineering solutions for optimizing the transfer of large amounts of data across WANs to increase the speed through compression, load-balancing, and parallelizing transfers
• Designing, deploying, and managing modular network architectures to support heterogenous compute and storage requirements for distributed and high-performance computing
• Designing, deploying, and managing secure cross-domain solutions, controlled interfaces, and remote desktop solutions
• Designing and implementing network engineering solutions to enable big data clusters, storage area networks (saN), and network access servers (Nas) to easily communicate across network fabrics with converged access support for fibre Channel/fibre channel over ethernet (fC/fCoe).
• Virtualizing switching fabrics to allow multiple networking components to behave as a single component
• Analyzing network traffic, troubleshooting network performance issues, and providing capacity planning solutions, and monitoring and responding to hardware, software, and network problems
• Monitoring and responding to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree
  • Additional 2 years of relevant experience can be substituted for degree
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
