ManTech is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Specialist II to support the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Corona Division in Norfolk, VA.

Position Overview:

• Knowledge of systems design/development lifecycle (SDLC), software systems theory and engineering principles, network/systems design and implementation, virtualization and cloud technologies. Ability to apply state-of-the-art machine learning approaches, including deep learning, to new and challenging applications. Develops data mining techniques to generate datasets and build scalable prototypes with real-world applicability. Designs interactive visualizations to understand and analyzes these datasets and conveys model outputs. Familiarity with data models that support IA, KM, Human Geography, full spectrum of Geospatial-Intelligence, and other mission sets.
• Must have an active Secret security clearance with TS/SCI Eligibility

Experience Level/Education/Certification Requirements:

• Should have five (5) years of experience with a Master's degree or eight (8) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree. Should show increasing responsibility in development or maintenance of software and/or information networks. Candidate should possess 2+ years' experience with at least three (3) of the following: requirements definition; modular testing; formulating design methodology; documentation origination; systems integration and testing to verify required performance; assessment of change proposals for technical merit; database design and development.
• Bachelor's degree (+8 years' experience) in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or other related technical discipline. Desired: Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or other related technical discipline, and five (5) years of experience.
• Shall meet requirements with current baseline and Computing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) certifications as needed for relevant operating systems and Security+. Shall possess the necessary training, qualifications, and experience for the IAT-I level at a minimum in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2 and DoD 8140/8570
