SAIC's National Security Group (NSG) is seeking a Mission Services Agile Development Systems Engineer to fill a critical role on the LANDMARK AOS Program. The position will be located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

LANDMARK AOS is a large SETA contract supporting the customer's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

The candidate will provide SETA support for the acquisition of intelligence community (IC) national intelligence ground R&D systems (hardware and software), cooperatively with government, FFRDC, and other SETA contractors. In this role you will actively support GED's Enterprise Data and Platform (EDAP) transformation.

You will work side-by-side with other LANDMARK AOS staff comprised of world class Systems Engineers, Acquisition Engineers, and Domain Experts to lead the customer in acquiring modern processing applications. This position offers growth opportunities not only within the LANDMARK AOS program, but within SAIC. Position is to function as SETA support (technical consulting and advisory services) for a Ground System Program Office.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
  • 9+ years in support of Intelligence Community's (IC) Mission Services and/or Messaging systems and capability development
  • Understanding of overhead collection, processing architecture, and systems
  • Experience developing or supporting the development of processing capabilities for ground system
  • Can lead software development projects through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process
  • Serves on a team of high-performing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) responsible for analyzing contractor data, developing and executing ECPs, and providing technical analysis.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to the Government in support of program execution to facilitate capability delivery within cost and schedule
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies
  • Experience documenting requirements, user stories, and use cases
  • Knowledge of cloud software development
  • Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing technologies
  • Knowledge of software licensing, enterprise licenses and commercial support
  • Experience with government program management, readiness, program control and budgeting
  • Strong Program Management leadership to multiple projects at an enterprise level meeting customer timelines and delivery needs.
  • Strong communications and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment
  • Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums
  • Travel: Position is in Northern Virginia with frequent meetings in local area with occasional travel (appx. 10%)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge and thorough understanding of requirements management for NRO and NRO programs
  • Working knowledge of NRO customer integration processes
  • Experience with IC/DoD messaging systems and platforms
  • Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders
