Lead Javascript Engineer
Summary
We are looking for a driven and talented Lead Software Engineer to join the Big Fish Casino team. The ideal candidate enjoys the challenge of improving the development and gameplay of highly successful mobile applications, collaborating with remote teams, and cares deeply about the player experience.
Responsibilities

• Lead an effective team in creating impactful new features in one of the most successful social casino applications of all time
• Drive key framework enhancements across partner studios to accelerate engineering, art, and QA team workflows
• Own technical quality through architecture and code reviews
• Solve challenging problems and ship code frequently
• Launch new content live with our best-in-class release pipeline

Qualifications

• 6+ years professional experience in software development
• Expert working knowledge of Javascript
• Expert knowledge of OOP principles, and design patterns for writing highly reusable, clean code
• Experience developing mobile applications with active live operations
• Experience estimating effort and establishing timelines of large features
• Comfortable communicating risk and planning contingencies
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented, motivated, self-starter that works well independently
