Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack Engineers with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together in order to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Responsibilities

• Development in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, API while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications and deliver superior engineering outcomes
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Work in a team environments and mentor the junior team members
• Honing individual engineering competency using the available enablement programs
• Participate actively in talent acquisition
• Engage in team leadership and people management
• Qualifications
• Senior developer working in an Agile team to work in Billing & Payments application
• Hands on development in Java, Spring, REST Services, Microservices, AWS, SQL
• Participate in Sprint planning, retrospective and review sessions and provide estimates for the stories/tasks
• Update wiki documentation for system design and known errors
• Work with Application architects, Business Analysts and QA as part of the Agile team.

Must have Skills:

• Java, Spring, REST Services, Microservices, AWS, SQL

Nice to have:

• TDD/BDD & Docker/Kubernetes
• INSURANCE experience is added advantage
