We are looking for a full stack developer who can provide technical leadership in designing and implementing a microservices architecture for executing tests and managing the resulting data. Additionally a successful candidate should be able to build usable interfaces using modern web-based UI technologies like React.

This position will be based out of our Mountain View, CA or Lehi, UT office, although remote work is possible for the right candidate in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide technical leadership to small team of software developers
  • Develop APIs and microservices to enable new capabilities for test execution, data transport, and the storage and distribution of data.
  • Help manage projects, drive sprints, and regularly provide code review feedback
  • Use agile methodologies to design, implement, test, and maintain test frameworks
  • Help write and improve documentation 

What You Bring to the Team

  • Eight years of related experience with a bachelors degree; or 6 years and a Master's Degree or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience. 
  • Ability to design and implement effective APIs and services to build modern applications
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Python
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, especially React and Redux
  • Proficiency with SQL databases like MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with Kafka or other event streaming applications
  • Experience with writing unit tests
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis
  • Familiarity with the ELK stack
  • Strong UI design skills
