Are you a passionate DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience implementing the latest DevOps tools? Are you experienced leading DevOps Teams and promoting the DevOps culture in your organization? If so, the DevOps Lead at Terazo might be for you!
This role is heavily focused on the design, automation, and management of platforms, processes, and workloads across the development, test, and production environments.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead a team of DevOps engineers in infrastructure upgrade and expansion projects.
- Maintain the established change management protocols (release schedules, meetings, etc.).
- Establish and maintain efficient monitoring processes around batch jobs and streaming data pipes.
- Maintain production incident management framework. Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage utilization reports for cloud components and participate in capacity planning.
- Promote best practices in system design and actively contribute to architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production system resiliency and ensure compliance.
- Establish global incident resolution process
- Support Risk Management initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- DevOps leadership experience - leading a team in a fast-paced agile environment
- Design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
- Code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Artifactory, Sonar, Selenium
- Tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software
- Strong networking fundamentals, especially around routing and firewalls
- Working knowledge of DNS
- Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or Nomad
- Systems administration and troubleshooting
- Agile delivery and project management experience
- Automation scripting using Perl, Bash, Python or Golang
- Fundamental information security controls
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory controls
