Our client is currently seeking a Java J2EE - Intermediate

This job will have the following responsibilities:
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

Understanding of architecture and design across all systems

Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

Passionate about building an innovative culture

Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages

Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

Strong experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST), JMS, J2EE and/or Spring frameworks

Working knowledge of web-related technologies (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, etc.)

Background on web and application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, or comparable J2EE servers

Database knowledge - SQL, table structure, data relationships

Familiar with modern architecture to include Cloud, AWS, PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) Spring Boot, Kafka, RDBMS, (Cockroach DB a plus)

Preferred:

Experience in Agile software development methodology and practices with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.

UI/UX experience strongly preferred
