We're seeking an IT Systems Engineer to conduct comprehensive vulnerability audits for external customers who are in the financial services sector. You will review and remediate findings related to missing operating system, application patching, and general system hardening. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing recommendations that align with the customer's IT environment, their business goals, and objectives while minimizing the threat footprint.

This position will be filled to work at the following Jack Henry office locations: Monett, MO, Springfield, MO, Allen, TX, or Remotely within the U.S.

The target salary range for this position is $48,800 - $75,000, based on location and experience.

What you'll be responsible for:
• Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate vulnerabilities and patch applications.• Support of patch management solutions such as N-able, Ivanti Lumension, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Kaseya VSA Patch Management, Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or other enterprise level patch management solutions is essential.• Analyzing failed logon events to determine the difference between malicious and non-malicious activity.• Staying up to date on IT trends and security standards. Use those standards to define potential problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and make recommendations to customers.• Monitor and management of case backlog to prevent stale cases.• May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:
• Minimum of 18 months of experience in any of the following: systems administration, vulnerability findings/scanning, or creating, editing, and applying GPO's.• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to effectively communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences & all layers of management across the organization.

What would be nice for you to have:
• Experience with Change Management processes.• Security certifications (e.g. Security+, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA).• Ability to work under stress, with the flexibility to handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously.• Experience working with any enterprise-level vulnerability scanners such as Tenable Nessus scanner, Retina Network Security Scanner, Qualys Vulnerability Management, Beyond Trust Retina Scanner or other enterprise level vulnerability scanners is essential.
