Integration Solutions Architect
About The Role:
The transportation industry has no shortage of complex problems requiring creative solutions to scale efficiently. In this role, you will be instrumental in understanding the complexities of Mastery's client software and integration landscape in order to prescribe end to end integration solutions for Mastery's proprietary software platform. You will also work closely with the Mastery Product, Commercial, and Engineering divisions to ensure internal alignment with each customer's unique requirements. Lastly, you will participate in successfully implementing the end-to-end integration solution and maintain engagement with the Client to drive high efficiencies in their workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Provide deep understanding of the Mastermind Platform integration capabilities including but not limited to API, EDI, and 3rd party integrations
- Set engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans, and coordinate activities across and between multiple project workstreams
- Assess Client's technical requirements and capabilities throughout the engagement to provide sound recommendations on technical solution to ensure success
- Lead solution proof-of-concept sessions with clients to educate on best practices, identify gaps, and recommend process changes and/or solution refinement approaches
- Develop software design and architecture documentation relative to the Clients end to end Enterprise solution including diagrams and supplementary written documentation
- Participate in test case creation and execution of the Clients end to end solution
- Identify and resolve issues, using developer tools and analyzing error messages, related to the activation and implementation of the Mastermind Platform relative to API, EDI and 3 rd Party Integrations
- Provide highly responsive customer service and maintain a high level of member satisfaction
- Collaborate with engineering to improve the implementation and configuration of professional service processes
- Stay current on software engineering trends & tools, and be practical but open-minded in applying them
- Maintain a high bar for quality and performance of your solutions with vigorous attention to detail.
- Continuously improve how we design, build, and ship software as a highly functional team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of expertise in the Transportation and Supply Chain field, including experience working with transportation management systems (TMS).
- Intermediary or expert level understanding of modern software engineering principles and best practices
- Intermediary or expert level experience using specific technologies such as JSON, REST, OAUTH 2.0, event-driven architecture, Kafka, GraphQL, SQL, Docker, Azure, Postman/Insomnia
- Knowledgeable about all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery for web, client server, and cloud-based systems
- Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders to understand and develop requirements and formulate solutions
- Intermediate level understanding of enterprise architecture and how various systems interact and integrate with each other
- Experienced designing and recommending solutions that leverage EDI and API integration technologies
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, client, and executive level audiences
