Job Description
As an Identity & Access Management Security Engineer I, you will, assess and complete system access requests and resolve technical access issues while adhering to corporate information security standards, departmental procedures and service level agreements (SLAs). You will apply engineering knowledge to optimize management and maintenance of company-wide access control program using current information security best practices. You will work with system and platform administrators and management to define appropriate system access requirements for various types of access. You will contribute to the design and develop global enterprise security solutions and infrastructure that deliver high availability and performance. You will perform system audits to ensure access is appropriate and complies with company guidelines. You will collaborate with team members and supporting organizations and make recommendations to support, improve and scale identity and access services.
Working Environment

Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

  • At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Expectations

  • Eligible to obtain the Security+ or CISSP certifications within 6 months of employment
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to participate in on-call rotation as needed
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
