Position Summary:
Network Tools Engineering resource to advance/transform current fault management tools to meet business needs, address critical operational gaps, improve underlying data quality in Network Services.
Responsibilities:

  • Architect and engineer Fault Monitoring toolset Ensure that Fault Monitoring toolset globally covers all environments.
  • Develop test plans, execute tests and document results.
  • Interact with users and stakeholders to build requirements and deliver Fault Monitoring solutions.
  • Onboard new Fault Monitoring tools through Bank governance processes.
  • Assist with Audit deliverables for Fault Monitoring toolset Work with Vendors to enhance their respective tool to meet new customer/security requirements Refresh/Upgrade existing tool as it becomes EOL/EOS or Not-Permitted within the bank.
  • Develop integrations to the various Bank tools and systems.
  • Develop and maintain Technical Recovery plans for Fault Monitoring toolset Conduct new product research related to Fault Monitoring Provide L3 Support for Fault Monitoring toolset


Required Skills:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in architecting and engineering Fault Management Solutions
  • Functional knowledge of Network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, load balancers etc.
  • 5+ experience in Networks or System Tools Engineering and/or Operations
  • Prior Vendor management experience
  • Understanding of inter-dependencies of various network components
  • AI/ML fundamentals
  • Scripting abilities - Python or Perl. Familiarity with the SDLC process.
  • Familiarity with Data Management principles.
  • Prior experience in building and executing test plans
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, tools integration, etc
  • Good network and systems troubleshooting skills
  • Linux/Unix Server Administration Windows Server Administration
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory


Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Agile project delivery a plus
  • Previous experience in an engineering/architect role within financial technology
