The Opportunity
The Data Solutions team strives to create data-fueled capabilities that enable Magento merchants to create intelligent experiences and uncover commerce insights. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Build applications that support many of the groundbreaking products of Adobe Commerce
• Work with a team of hardworking engineers, partnering with multiple product teams and working to understand their needs and the needs of their users
• Hone your e-commerce business expertise, learning what drives shopper behavior in different verticals for different merchants

What you'll do

• A focus on user experience, UI design principles and making applications work intuitively
• Contribute to the full stack to ensure product performance and success
• Take ownership for the technical quality of the projects committed to by the team
• Develop and exercise your leadership abilities with the team to promote an outstanding developer experience

What you need to succeed

• Strong experience with JavaScript and proficiency with modern JS frameworks and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Webpack, Typescript).
• 2+ years experience as a software engineer
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Take ownership of a project operating in a Saas world
• Ability to receive code reviews with constructive feedback and to provide them in return
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
• Passion for developing phenomenal developer experiences

Bonus points for

• Ability to demonstrate responsibility for the entire software creation process, from development to delivery
• Experience researching solutions to problems and pitching your ideas to senior team members
• Experience with iterative refactoring of a codebase
• Familiarity with technologies and concepts such as: Java, PHP, Jenkins, AWS, CI/CD, microservice design, Object oriented programming
