Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Front-End Web Developer to join a team creating software for aviation diagnostics. The position will require development of client side views, including base layouts and all UI elements of websites and web applications. Candidate will have the opportunity to develop frameworks supporting multiple manned and unmanned aviation platforms. Qualified applicants will have good programming skills, be able to work independently, and take a proactive role to assure that task responsibilities are completed on schedule.

Job Requirements

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing solutions with the latest .NET Core Frameworks using C# programming language and Visual Studio.
• Troubleshooting development and production issues.
• Conducting and participating in design discussions and code reviews.
• Managing source code and builds in Azure DevOps.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to review and analyze system requirements and user stories.
• Work with Technical Writers to create technical documentation for internal and external clients that accurately describe the configuration of technology utilized to implement a solution

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in client side development utilizing ASP.NET Core, or ASP.NET or similar frameworks.
• Experience in planning, designing, and implementing software architectures for web solutions.
• Knowledge of .Net architectural Standards and Frameworks
• Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Experience developing Cloud applications with API management and distributed micro services based architecture.
• Previous experience providing application support, development
• Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban)
• Relational Database Management Systems & Database Modeling Fundamentals (SQL Server 2012+, Oracle, SQLITE3, MySQL, SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL)
