Introduction

Rightpoint is seeking a Frontend Developer to help build browser applications for Rightpoint's clients. Rightpoint provides an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to grow their careers working with top-notch consults building solutions for our many clients including Six Flags, Johnson Controls, Boston Beer Company, United Airlines, Chamberlain, Aon, New Belgium Brewing, B&H Photo, RunKeeper, Rue La La, and Care.com. Candidates that are a good fit for this role might have 1 to 3 years of experience but might also might have taken a different journey. Whatever your story is, we want to hear it. This Frontend Developer role will be responsible for implementing user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications typically using React, but also using Angular. These skilled front-end developers are involved in all stages of interface component design, from conception through to final testing. This person will work with a team of experienced project/product managers, experience designers, and fellow developers to build enterprise-grade solutions. Candidates with no React experience, should have equivalent experience using Angular or Vue.
What You’ll Be Doing and The Impact You’ll Make:

• Develop and test user-facing features using React, TypeScript, Redux, Jest, etc.

• Interpret designs, and translate them to pixel-perfect HTML/CSS/JSX

• Load and persist data using REST APIs

• Collaborate with other development teams to plan integration with a services layer

What we’d love to see:

• Proficiency in JavaScript using modern tools (Babel, Webpack, npm)

• Understanding of core React libraries as well familiarity with the supporting technologies that are shipped with Create React App

• Familiarity with Git version control

• Experience working with a team following Agile development methodologies

• Ability to implement responsive designs using CSS media queries
