About the Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Network / DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure and software development operations.
What You Will Do

• Assist in designing, implementing and maintaining our network infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Assist in maintaining and improving network security and data privacy
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure smooth integration of applications and services with network infrastructure
• Manage and maintain server hardware and software, including backups and disaster recovery
• Assist in automating routine tasks and processes using scripting and other tools
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve network and development operations
• Willingness to learn AWS networking and infrastructure support.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, related field, or equivalent experience with supporting certifications.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and network security
• System Administration knowledge of major Linux Operating Systems ex. Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Basic ability to write and execute bash or python scripting

Preferred qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
