The Enterprise Network Architect is a new position responsible for the design of supporting Global network and application architecture standards, and to collaborate with the VP Applications and VP Infrastructure to deliver customer and associate solutions seamlessly across multiple delivery channels (internet, Fiber, PON, Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC) and media (POS, mobile, voice enabled technologies, web). This includes evaluating emerging technologies against DN business strategies and developing, standardizing, creating enterprise vendor certification and support programs and optimizing key technologies which support a multi-dimensional and international food and hospitality company that expects to evolve and grow in the near and long-term.
• Collaborate with the VP Applications and VP Infrastructure to devise and implement the strategic plan related to the stable, secure and cost effective operation of the organization's Enterprise Architecture.
• Recommends and manages short and long term projects designed to meet business requirements application functionality, performance, availability, cost and business continuity across a variety of infrastructure needs while taking into account business direction and growth strategies.
• Leads emerging technology initiatives to meet long term DN business objectives.
• Assists the CIO, CTO and team with the design, and ensuring compliance to, enterprise architecture related IT governance, Legal and Regulatory required policies and procedures, such as access management and change management.
• Designs and leads emerging technology pilots using agile practices.
• Creates executive level communications related to current and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrates ability to lead initiatives in planning, developing and executing business process re-engineering, architecture, business cases, development, analytics, contract management, financial management and resource management.
• Demonstrates trouble shooting and critical thinking skills.
• Creates strategic outsourcing partnerships resulting in scalable and repeatable resourcing of projects.
• Provides senior level visibility to leading external hospitality and technology associations.
• Set strategy and establish standards and ensure compliance and accuracy for assigned technical baselines, including cloud architectures, applications, server technologies, and communication technologies, LANs, WANs, Internet, Intranet, security, wireless implementations and any devices connecting to, or containing DNC data or systems.
• Design and implement short and long term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Define hardware, software and communication standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
• Design vendor certification programs and evaluate vendors against the standard.
• Develop testing methodologies for application performance and security.
• Describes work flow and systems applications in a clear, concise manner.
• Develop proposed budgets and manage operational costs; conduct near and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.
• Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent infrastructure activities.
• Negotiate with vendors and contractors while leveraging internal Delaware North Procurement expertise to secure infrastructure-specific products and services.
• Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Must have - A minimum of 8 years of related experience in a Global organization in the implementation, management and maintenance of information technology infrastructure and IT systems including cloud architectures (AWS), PON, authentication technologies, automation, server technologies, communication technologies, LAN, WAN, telephone, voice, video and data communication systems. Strong leadership skills, technical acumen and critical thinking to build strong core enterprise architecture. Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across internal and external audiences.
