The Clover platform delivers solutions in a scalable and modular fashion that powers tiny merchants through large football stadiums, supporting millions of transactions daily. We are looking for self starters with a passion for security technology who want to help us impact millions of merchant's lives one transaction at a time.
In this role you can expect to:

• Build tooling to support IT growth at Clover
• Improve the security posture of Clover endpoints (Mac, Windows, Linux)
• Collaborate cross functionally to make design/strategy decisions and advocate for security improvements.

• Build and deploy endpoint protection solutions that integrate security best practices with employee needs
• Conduct research to identify threats and attack vectors and develop mitigating solutions to manage the risk
• Provide information regarding any perceived weaknesses in the security program
• Lead the research and evaluation of emerging security technology, and industry and market trends to assist in project development and prioritization

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in endpoint security or similar fields
• 3+ years experience with coding (Python or Java is a plus)

• 2+ years in a start-up culture
• Experience in common shell scripting languages (Bash / Powershell)
• Experience in with common IT deployment and management tools
• Knowledge of basic cryptography (TLS) and common network protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Crowdstrike, JAMF, Tanium, or similar tools
• Experience with patch management, remote support, and networking
• Detailed security knowledge including aspects such as malware, network intrusion prevention, Security Information Event Management systems
