Job Description

Description:
Do you relish a challenge? Then you may want to collaborate as part of the C2BMC program's DevSecOps team to develop the test, integration and delivery pipelines with Lockheed Martin in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

In this role, you will work independently / solo at times on large projects, at other times will be in a collaborative team environment with other DevSecOps engineers, as well as other program development and deployment teams.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide security in DevSecOps, up-to-date knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment techniques, code reviews, current best practices and the latest cybersecurity threats

- Choose and deploy the appropriate automated application security testing tools

- Bring awareness to users of how to make the most of application security features

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree

Looking for an DevSecOps Engineer with some knowledge or experience in any of the following areas:

- Network, Software, or platform infrastructure capability automation, development, or deployment

- Experience with Linux/UNIX or Windows system administration

- Experience with a shell scripting language (e.g., Python, Powershell, etc.)

- Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMWare, to include infrastructure and automation of those environments

Desired skills

- An effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.

The following are experiences that are positives / pluses, but not required for filling the position:

- An understanding of software development life cycle

- Experience with Agile methodology

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
