Job Description:

We are currently looking for a skilled Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to join our team to design, build, and operate a diverse set of multi-cloud environments composed of AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

Technologies used: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Linux, Windows, Jenkins, Bash, CloudFormation, PowerShell Scripts, Terraform.

This position may be telecommuting but local to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to be onsite as needed. Qualified candidate must have or can attain a Public Trust clearance.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on designing, developing, and implementing automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration solutions for Infrastructure and application platforms
  • Working in a DevSecOps capacity with a desire to automate everything
  • Constructing/Managing Docker ecosystems
  • Maintain end-to-end security ensuring security best practices are always implemented
  • Provision and maintain all servers using configuration management tools
  • Deliver infrastructure as code
  • Developed solutions using cloud services & open-source tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years related experience. The degree should be in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline. Five (5) years’ experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills
  • Developed solutions using cloud services & open-source tools
  • Delivered infrastructure as code
  • Used cloud orchestration tools
  • Provided continuous monitoring & support
  • Automated functional and performance tests
  • Developed and managed container-based platforms
  • Delivered solutions using Agile methodology
  • Experience building infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or similar scripting techniques
  • Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible or Terraform in production environments
  • Strong practical Linux and Windows based systems administration skills and scripting experience in a Cloud based environment
  • Experience with automated testing tools (i.e. selenium, Cucumber)
  • AWS, Azure or Google Cloud DevOps experience
  • Strong experience with federal agency Authorization to Operate (ATO) process and implementation of NIST 800-53 security controls

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with HHS Enterprise Lifecycle (EPLC)
  • Experience with FDA a plus
