The DevSecOps Engineer serves as a technical expert on Azure Cloud supporting a microservices based platform. An expert in cloud native engineering and architecture, this role completes design and implementation of highly secure and resilient cloud native solutions. This role will be responsible for partnering with IT Architecture, IT Engineering, Security, and lines of business leaders and their teams to ensure that Azure platform meets all Ally Security and IT policies and standards.

The Work Itself
• Partner with Development teams to ensure coding standards are in alignment with DevOps practices with respect to tools, standards, and security
• Maintain Azure infrastructure using infrastructure code and work with our ever-growing collection of Terraform modules.
• Development and maintain various automation tools
• Work with Development team to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with quality and security gates
• Participate in code reviews for automation scripts developed by other team members using Git based pull/merge techniques
• Create, maintain, and monitor services with performance monitoring tools
• Help enhance the company's IT infrastructure security protocols.
• Implements cloud technology solutions requested by business units.
• Establishes patterns and new design standards around cloud native platform.

The Skills You Bring

• 7+ years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or other relevant field of study preferred.
• Highly proficient with engineering secure, scalable, and resilient cloud native solutions.
• Expert knowledge of DevOps, Security Architecture, and SRE practices.
• Experience designing and delivering applications using Azure.
• Strong experience with automation, testing, and securing the Azure platform.
• Experience with CI/CD, Testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes, specifically Terraform.
• Proficient in Python and Go for automation and testing
