DevOps Engineer, Lead
The Challenge:

Our clients operate in a fast-paced environment serving many stakeholders and the need for an experienced DevOps lead is crucial to the success of our program.

This role is more than just scripting or being a team lead. We need an experienced DevOps engineer who will use their passion to guide development teams to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using Agile processes, multiple programming languages, and frameworks, you'll enhance a DevOps pipeline across multiple networks and lead the software development of multiple websites. Your team will analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build digital solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You will also need to be an excellent communicator, explaining technical solutions to non-technical clients.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS
  • Experience with developing CI/CD DevOps pipelines
  • Experience with automation and testing software suites, including Jenkins
  • Experience with rsync, Drush, and Composer
  • Experience with Bitbucket and Jenkins
  • Experience with managing web servers, including Apache and Nginx
  • Knowledge of content management systems, including Drupal
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with containers and container orchestration platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with designing, developing, deploying, and testing in the AWS ecosystem
  • Experience with Akamai Content Distribution Network
  • Experience with an Agile release methodology
  • Experience with Oracle VirtualBox
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Experience with Ubuntu Native environment
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification
