Job Overview
Under broad guidance, performs activities related to the analysis, design, debugging, modification, and maintenance of software deployments through the use of in-house developed scripts and/or third-party software solutions. Uses extensive DevOps skills to set up virtual data environment for key government contract.

Roles and responsibilities

Responsible for implementation, maintenance and support of cloud infrastructure and environments, CI/CD tooling and processes. Working within a globally-distributed DevSecOps team and interacting with DevOps and software engineers to identify requirements and technical problems, and contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions.

  • Under broad guidance, analysis, design, debugging, modification, and maintenance of software deployments through the use of in-house developed scripts and/or third-party software solutions.
  • Under broad guidance, may interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as desktop applications, mobile apps, financial management, or HRIS products.
  • Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related discipline (required)
  • Incumbent possesses and has demonstrated basic knowledge of systems and software development with a minimum of two (2) years of software development experience (required)
  • Collaborate closely with developers and data scientists.
  • Work alongside other team members such as Product Owners and Software QA to manage the development cycle from 'thought to delivery.'
