About the Opportunity


We’re looking to hire a Developer Advocate who can help us better understand and support our rapidly growing developer community. We’re looking for someone who can be the voice of Hiro at developer events and through technical content on our blog, YouTube channel, Discord, and more.

What You'll Do

  • Create and execute a developer relations strategy to increase product adoption with support from Product and Marketing
  • Engage and build relationships with the developer community across channels including GitHub, Discord, social, and more
  • Build and promote applications, including starter code samples, and teach developers the purpose and the value of Hiro's developer toolings
  • Organize virtual and (safety permitting) in-person developer meetups
  • Speak at developer-focused conferences about Hiro’s developer tools and Stacks
  • Produce engaging technical content including blog posts
  • Support product documentation and product roadmap by providing feedback from the developer community to product and engineering teams
  • Give strategic recommendations to executives about developer needs

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in a technical community or technical customer success role such as developer advocate, solutions engineer, or field engineer
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Passion for helping developers achieve their goals
  • A balance of technical acumen and community building skills
  • The ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences with ease
  • Safety permitting, the ability to travel approximately 30% a year to speak at conferences, host meetups, and meet with customers
  • Experience with crypto developer communities
