This position is for a Cyber Security Engineering Lead supporting the Mars Ascent Vehicle Integrated System (MAVIS) program. The Cyber Lead will be part of a security engineering team working to capture, define, architect, design, develop, integrate, test and deliver products to government customers.

What does this role look like?

In this role, you will act as the the cyber engineering lead performing the following:• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle• Development of Cyber Plans and Procedures• Coordinate cyber risk assessments and reviews in support of Cyber activities• Collaborate with software development team to ensure cybersecurity best practices are incorporated • Perform attack surface analysis activities• Recommend software vulnerability mitigations• Conduct cybersecurity evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements• Support program engineering environment to include hardware and software tools

Basic Qualifications
• Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.)• Cybersecurity engineering experience with embedded systems development• Firm understanding of RMF and Cyber requirements• Knowledge or experience with employment of DoD
cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures

Desired skills
• Cybersecurity engineering experience with embedded systems development for DoD• Software development support experience with DoD embedded systems• Communication skills to negotiate staggered implementation approaches that meet multiple conflicting objectives• Strong technical writing skills

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $106,400 - $177,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
