As Cloud Systems Engineer at Tango Card, you will be a “go to” contributor when architecting and deploying new systems & services that keep our company running. Drawing on your superb technical competency, you’ll help deliver mission-critical infrastructure, and ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Working within a close-knit team, you will build new solutions to meet our growing business challenges.

An FYI: Qualified Cloud Systems Engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

As Cloud Systems Engineer at TC, You Will:

  • Ensure maintenance and scalability of our IdP solution and SaaS resources owned by corporate IT; maintaining, securing, auditing and procuring/deploying new services driven by business objectives.
  • Create and maintain automation orchestration of corporate objects, including but not limited to employee account creation and licensing, assisting team members in development of automations for the business.
  • Ensure the continued operation, performance and security of the Tango Card corporate and virtual network, this includes physical site based networks / office ISPs and our VPN services (this does not include our customer facing environment).
  • Management of our corporate devices such as but not limited to servers, computers and mobile devices, maintaining compliance standards and accurate inventory.
  • Administer the corporate IT vulnerability remediation program (servers and user endpoints), working in concert with the Infosec team to harden systems and devices.
  • Assist the implementation and maintenance of the corporate services Business Continuity plan: maintaining security, backup, redundancy strategies and recovery processes.You will participate in the application of regulatory and compliance efforts such as but not limited to ISO and SoC.
  • You’ll participate in the decision and design of corporate information systems, both corporate and SaaS based; creating and maintaining network documentation as it pertains to corporate infrastructure.
  • Assist in the management of the vendors responsible for the services Tango Card provides to employees under the responsibility of Systems Engineering.

Our Cloud Systems Engineer at Tango Card will have most of the following experience:

  • 2 year technical degree in related field or higher.
  • 3-5 years in a previous Cloud/Systems Engineering position or 4-6 years as a Systems Administrator with a record of deploying SaaS systems.
  • 1-3 years of experience administering IDPs with a proven record of creating automation using available APIs. Working with Okta Workflows or equivalent tool.
  • 1-3 years managing Zscaler or a similar multi-node VPN
  • 1-3 years of experience managing Firewalls
  • 1-3 years of mixed experience with local corporate and cloud networks (AWS - VPC, Route 53).
  • Basic Knowledge of: Scripting: Bash, Powershell and some Python, API usage, Postman (query testing)
  • Basic Knowledge of: Security: PKI, Application Security, Vulnerability Management, SSLi, SAML
  • Basic Knowledge of: Networking: DHCP, DNS, IIS, VPN, TCP/UDP, Zscaler. AWS: VPC, Route 53
  • You're a self starter, you need little to no direction from management
  • Ability to perform in ambiguous situations, if you aren’t knowledgeable about the issue at hand you know how to “Google it” and learn what needs to be done.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, you know how to get down to the root of a problem; there are no dead ends, if you don’t know the answer you’ll find it out.
  • Prioritization skills; you’re an expert to know when to work on what, allowing you to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Attention to detail, you are meticulous; you're able to produce polished and easy to understand administrative guides and keep a wide range of systems and documents up to date.

Our ideal Cloud Systems Engineer will have most of the following Education and Experience:

  • 4 year college degree
  • Demonstrated success working with APIs and making use of services to leverage automation on a variety of platforms or a proven record of creating automations with Okta Rules & Okta Workflows or equivalent tools (e.g. Workato).
  • Experience with other Tango Card tools are a plus: Okta, Google Workspace, Duo, Azure Active Directory, Slack, Meraki, Palo Alto Firewalls, Jira, CrowdStrike, Nessus, Zscaler, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Kandji, Box, Powershell, Bash.
  • Certifications in one or more of the following: Google Workplace, Okta, MCSE, CCNA, Net+, Zscaler

Salary: The targeted pay range for this position is between $80,000 to $115,000. Please note that the actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.  Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonus.
