What You'll Do:

As a Software Engineer, you will play an important role within our Managed Services Engineering department. MSE designs, programs, and maintains user interfaces, APIs, and automated processes related to Exegy product deployment, configuration management, service health monitoring, and service management. MSE tools and processes support key operational processes such as provisioning, notifications, and customer support. As a member of MSE, you will develop interfaces and automated processes to support these functions, and integrate those processes with various cloud services. MSE key technologies include Puppet, Jira, Linux, JavaScript, Angular, Python, Git, and Docker.

Specifically, You Will:

• Provide technical leadership for the team guiding technologies and best practices for cloud services
• Develop software APIs and components to integrate with cloud technologies
• Develop cloud-based data management processes including replication, ETL, synchronization, and archive
• Design, deploy, and support services to support customer portals and client automation

What Will Make You Successful:

• Expertise using and creating APIs
• Expertise with AWS and Google cloud platforms and services
• Expertise with cloud deployment, scaling, and storage
• Experience using and supporting cloud services APIs
• Experience with Puppet and Ansible
• Experience with cloud services administration and vendor management
• Programming skills in Python, Java, Ruby, or C/C++
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong skills with object-oriented design, microservices, and data structures
• Experience with source-code control (i.e., Gitlab, GitHub, or CVS)
• Familiarly with continuous integration and test automation
• Stay current with emerging development tools and technologies

What is Required:

• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years software development experience
