We're looking for a top-notch Engineer to join us on the development of our Cloud-Native Edge Platform. This team is responsible for providing  a framework that allows Engineers to easily integrate, deploy, upgrade and manage Edge applications into the Collibra platform ecosystem for our customers. Cloud Native Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:

You’ll be building Collibra cloud-native edge capability platform with your team members and you’ll have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Formulate, suggest and implement new ideas/features/delivery methods for our Edge Infrastructure
  • Work on bleeding edge computing practices, including Infrastructure as code, Edge Computing and Observability
  • Work over a containerized , multi-cloud, multi-region environment 
  • Together with the other engineers in your team, you’ll own, build and implement new functionalities in our Edge product with a passion for quality
  • Interact closely with the Test Engineering to make sure you write the necessary tests and they can give you feedback early in the process

You Have:

  • 5+ years experience building scalable software applications, or 3+ years of experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Industry experience and knowledge of:   
  • A great understanding of cloud-native engineering, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery
  • Because this role supports the U.S. Government, it is required that this candidate be a U.S. Citizen who resides on U.S. soil
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required

You Are:

  • Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and models of edge computing, and are familiar with some of Java, Terraform, Go, Postgres, ElasticSearch or Kafka
  • Excited to do your best work with a diverse and distributed team
  • Passionate about creating and finishing new things while exploring new problems
  • Positive, open, solution driven, and value simplicity where possible

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will familiarize yourself with the Edge product, tech stack, and team
  • Within your third month, you will be comfortable driving features and fixes independently in a collaborative environment
  • Within your sixth month, you will be ready to own and potentially design significant features or capabilities of the product
