Cloud DevOps Infrastructure Engineer, Senior
Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for supporting the planning, strategy, and engineering of network and Cloud network infrastructures, including the implementation and design of sof tware and tools, monitoring the performance of systems, and supporting troubleshooting for performance issues when they present. Design, implement and maintain the networking components of a multi-tenant cloud Platform-as-a-Service ( PaaS ) with appropriate network isolation as well as connectivity to the on-prem agency network. Troubleshoot and resolve internal and external network issues and provide recommendations to increase network performance and reliability. Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provide detailed information for hardware and sof tware selection, and implementation te chn iques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Maintain te chn ical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware, and sof tware interconnection and interfacing, including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with developing or delivering complex IT network and Cloud solutions
-5+ years of experience with IP networking, including routing and switching
-5+ years of experience with system enterprise network architectures and topologies
-3+ years of experience with network infrastructure service designs, including TCP, IP, routing protocols, switching, GRE, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, or NAT
-2+ years of experience with NGINX
-2+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco CSRs, or Citrix NetScalers
-Experience with Transit Network VPCs
-Experience with AWS Cloud networking
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with data communications network te chn ologies
-2+ years of experience with Linux administration, including RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.x
-Experience with creating documentation in support of operations and obtaining and maintaining authorization to operate ( ATO )
-Experience with Docker or Kubernetes and related networking protocols and configurations, including mesh
-Experience with network security countermeasures, including firewalls, access control lists, int rus ion detection, and encryption devices
-Experience with MPLS, Splu nk , and network monitoring tools
-Experience with automation sof tware, including Ansible, Chef, and CloudFormation
-Knowledge of configuring a Client-Server VDI environment
-Knowledge of network and Cybersecurity, penetration testing, and information security practices in a Cloud-based environment
-CCNA, Network+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Asso cia te, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Asso cia te Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information .
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $120,000 to $150,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
