Cloud Automation and Orchestration Engineer, Senior
The Challenge:

On our team of experts, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help develop solutions to complex national security problems.

You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers spe cia lizing in AWS and other platforms to define and implement cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to build and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, and GCP labs, you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients' challenges and partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right te chn ical solutions. You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience with IT systems in a professional work environment
  • 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services ( AWS )
  • 5+ years of experience with Bitbucket
  • 3+ years of experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration for the US Government
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale sof tware deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery ( CI / CD )
  • Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments
  • Experience in working within and managing Git-based version control systems, including GitLab and GitHub
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience ( UX )
  • Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
  • Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
  • Experience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, performing a gap analysis, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendations preferred
  • Experience with containerization, including OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes
  • Experience with managing personal project priorities and deliverables
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Cloud Certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Asso cia te, Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect, or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
