Who you are:

As the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Engineer, you will report to the Director of DevSecOps and set up, maintain, and develop (ongoing) continuous build/integration infrastructure and ensure pipelines are properly defined and performing optimally. You bring a deep understanding of the pipeline's goals and the transactions occurring within them. You will actively interface with DevOps teams to coordinate and optimize the steps that execute within the pipeline and to bring consistency and best practices in approach, tools, and standards. You will also create and maintain fully automated CI build processes, which include writing builds and deployment scripts.

What you will do:

  • Develop, review, and modify CI/CD principles iteratively
  • Maintain CI/CD tools/platforms (if/when applicable)
  • Develop and maintain Build, Deployment, and Continuous Integration pipeline and systems
  • Manage and troubleshoot the CI/CD process including builds, infrastructure, and training
  • Investigate new tools and processes for CI/CD

What you bring to the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 6 years' hands-on software development delivering applications through the entire SDLC process using Agile practices
  • 2-4 years of CI/CD Engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience in: Cloud service platforms – AWS / GCP / Azure | Scripting: Python / Bash / Ruby / Powershell, CI/CD | Docker containerization | Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL

Bonus Points:

  • AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, IAM, VPC, Networking, and Security
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as Code tools
  • Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology
  • Experience with developing cloud-native CI/CD workflows and utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Jira, GitHub, and Release Management
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and Agile development tools
  • Familiarity with managing secrets and permissions in the context of CI/CD
  • Use tools like curl, Postman, etc. to interact with HTTP based APIs for developing automation scripts
  • System administration skills with Linux and macOS systems
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
