We are recruiting for a remote, BI Developer/Tester.

As a BI DeveloperTester on the Reporting & Business Intelligence team, you will work side by side with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver a customer-focused platform for our customer-facing reporting, in a highly agile and iterative environment. You will be primarily responsible for designing, developing and supporting new and existing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop data warehouse and Business Intelligence applications including developing data models, data marts, and ETL processes in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Execute full business intelligence life cycle including analysis, design, ETL development, dimensional modeling, testing, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Partner closely with business analysts in understanding and translating business requirements into stories, tasks, and subtasks in support of delivering consumable value to our business partners in an Agile manner.
  • Support by fixing incidents and enhance the business solutions that are developed based on the functional and strategic requirements.
  • Write SQL codes to analyze various data scenarios, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis.

  • Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience with detailed knowledge of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding.
  • 5+ years of experience with Data Transformation Tools (ODI, GoldenGate) and Business Intelligence Tools (MicroStrategy, OBIEE)
  • Deep understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design, multidimensional database design, OLTP, and OLAP
  • Solid fundamentals in the areas of complex SQL, performance tuning, modern data storage architecture, data analytics and reporting tools
  • Excellent TSQL database coding skills to include stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers and synonym creation.
