The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): · Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry · 5+ years of experience implementing processes and standards compliant with airplane certification standards and/or FAA certification standards · 3+ years of experience with preparing for DO-178C Stages of Involvement · 3+ years of experience with DO-178C and supplements (DO-331, DO-332) and DO-330 · 1+ years of experience with DO-330 tool qualification · 2+ years of experience in project or program managementPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): · Experience with requirements based testing · Commercial aircraft software development experience · Military software development experience · Model Based Development using Mathworks/Simulink tools · Commercial aircraft system certification experience · Military aircraft system certification experience · Experience with hardware certificationTypical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
