Come join the Vehicle Simulation Binary team as a Real Time Simulation Software Engineer part of Training Solutions.Primary Responsibilities :

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for generating, analyzing, debugging, documenting and testing software that simulates the characteristics of aircraft systems based on system design documents.
  • Integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Develops and executes test procedures documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
  • Develops, selects, and deploys software processes, tools and metrics.
  • The role will also support software integration and validation on the local flight training devices and possibly other locations as required to ensure successful integration and acceptance of software as well as support qualifications of full flight simulators.

Export Control:The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asyleeBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree
  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Proficient in coding C++
  • Experience developing real-time software for aircraft training systems
  • Adept at communicating and working with a global team in virtual and face-to-face environments
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Linux and windows development
  • experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies
  • Development experience using the Visual Studio platform
  • Experience working with Boeing aircraft design documents such as ICD, SCD, SDD

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility Hybrid/Telecommute :This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
