As part of the Environmental Control Systems (ECS) group you will be working on components that directly impact the safety of airline passengers. You'll be an integral part of supporting the modification of all in-service Boeing Commercial Airplane models to meet our customers' needs. • Develops and documents moderately complex requirements via drawings, data sets, reports, specifications and supporting data.
• Designs based on defined requirements.
• Tests and validates designs to meet operational and functional requirements.
• Monitors suppliers' performance to ensure integration and compliance with requirements.
• Resolves moderately complex problems with product integration and production anomalies.
• Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Participates with other members on project or program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or other technical degree
• Experience working in a multi-disciplined Systems Engineering environment
• 1+ years of experience working with or on an engineering team

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Experience with aircraft environmental control systems (air conditioning, air distribution, cabin pressure control, equipment cooling, cargo fire protection, nitrogen generating system, ice/rain protection, etc.)
• Ability to work with multiple team functions
• Willingness to expand into technical areas without prior experience
• Desire to continuously improve our airplanes
• Experience with Boeing Converted Freighter program
• Experience being a lead on a team
• ABET degree accreditation is preferred

Typical Education / Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
